Lake in Bonner County, Idaho. Idaho's largest lake at roughly 148 square miles and over 1,150 feet deep, this glacial lake in the northern Panhandle is a trophy fishery famous for huge rainbow (Kamloops) trout, lake trout (mackinaw), and a recovering kokanee population. Bull trout, smallmouth bass, and whitefish are also present. Cold, clear, deep water keeps surface temps cool even in summer.
