Lake Mohave, NV

Reservoir in Clark County, Nevada. A long, narrow Colorado River reservoir between Hoover Dam and Davis Dam within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, running from the cold tailwater below Hoover down to warmer flats near Laughlin. The frigid upper reach (Willow Beach) is a stocked rainbow trout fishery; the lower lake holds striped bass, largemouth and smallmouth bass, channel catfish, and crappie. Clear, cold dam releases make this a year-round destination.
