Reservoir spanning Rankin/Madison counties, Mississippi. A 33,000-acre impoundment of the Pearl River north of Jackson, the largest body of water entirely within Mississippi and the state's premier urban bass and crappie fishery. 'The Rez' holds big largemouth around its cypress flats, lily pads and old river channel, plus strong white and black crappie, channel and blue catfish and white bass. Heavily fished, well-stocked and ringed with ramps and marinas.
