A 90-acre cypress-rimmed millpond in Trap Pond State Park near Laurel, the northernmost natural stand of bald cypress in the United States and Delaware's first state park. A scenic panfish and bass fishery: crappie and bluegill dominate, with largemouth bass and chain pickerel holding around the flooded cypress knees. Best worked slowly from a kayak, canoe or small boat.
