Indian River Inlet & Bay, DE
Bay in Sussex County, Delaware. The hottest saltwater spot in southern Delaware, where Indian River Bay meets the Atlantic through a swift-running inlet inside Delaware Seashore State Park. The inlet rips hold striped bass and tautog, while the bay and nearshore reefs give up summer flounder, black sea bass, bluefish and weakfish. Strong tidal current makes it a tide-driven fishery best worked on the moving water.
