A nationally known bass fishery with largemouth and smallmouth bass over extensive artificial-reef and brush habitat, plus striped bass, redear sunfish (trophy class), bluegill, crappie, channel and flathead catfish, and carp. Warm, clear desert water; fishes all year with spring and fall peaks.
