Reservoir in Daggett County, Utah. A spectacular 91-mile reservoir on the Green River reaching from Wyoming into northeastern Utah within Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. The Utah end near the dam is renowned for trophy lake trout (mackinaw), kokanee salmon, rainbow and brown trout, plus smallmouth bass along rocky shorelines. Deep, cold, clear water sustains a world-class cold-water fishery, while the Green River tailwater below the dam is a blue-ribbon trout stream.
