Lewis & Clark Lake, NE

Reservoir in Knox County, Nebraska. A roughly 30,000-acre reservoir on the Missouri River behind Gavins Point Dam, straddling the Nebraska-South Dakota line near Crofton. Nebraska's section is a strong walleye and sauger fishery that also produces white bass, smallmouth and largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish. Spring brings walleye into the shallow rocky areas; summer and winter push them deeper. The lake is the downstream end of the Missouri National Recreational River.
