Pueblo Reservoir, CO

Reservoir in Pueblo County, Colorado. A roughly 4,600-acre reservoir on the Arkansas River at Lake Pueblo State Park, widely regarded as Colorado's premier warmwater fishery. Known for trophy walleye, wiper (hybrid striped bass), smallmouth and largemouth bass, channel catfish, and crappie. The tailwater below the dam is a popular stocked-trout fishery. Lower-elevation reservoir (roughly 4,900 ft) so it warms earlier than the mountain lakes.

Boat ramps at the North and South marinas in Lake Pueblo State Park; daily park pass required. No in-lake temperature gauge (the nearby Arkansas-below-dam gauge reads cold tailwater, not lake surface), so water temperature uses a seasonal baseline.
