Reservoir in San Miguel County, New Mexico. A roughly 9,600-acre reservoir on the Canadian River in northeastern New Mexico at Conchas Lake State Park. A warmwater fishery on the high plains known for largemouth and smallmouth bass, white bass, walleye, channel catfish, crappie, and bluegill. Long shoreline with rocky canyons and coves. Elevation roughly 4,200 ft, so it warms early and fishes well spring through fall.
