Reservoir in Reno County, Kansas. A 9,500-acre USACE reservoir on the North Fork Ninnescah River west of Wichita, the primary water supply for the city and a top south-central Kansas fishery. Cheney is best known for wiper (hybrid striped bass), walleye and white bass, with strong white crappie, channel and blue catfish, and white perch populations.
